Shikhar Dhawan Ruled Out of World Cup with Thumb Injury

India opener Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the ICC World Cup as he is unlikely to recover from a thumb injury which he sustained in the game against Australia at the Oval on June 9. Delhi wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant is set to replace him in the 15-man squad, PTI reported on Wednesday (June 19).
