EXCLUSIVE | Windies Should Not Have Chosen to Bat First at Trivandrum: Brian Lara

Ravindra Jadeja starred with the ball before Rohit Sharma registered yet another half-century as India beat Windies by nine-wickets victory and sealed the five-match ODI series 3-1. Winning the toss and choosing to bat, Windies were bundled out for a meagre 104 in 31.5 overs, with Jadeja leading the way with figures of 4/34. India took only 14.5 overs to get the runs with Rohit scoring an unbeaten 63. Former Windies skipper Brian Lara believes Jason Holder missed a trick by choosing to bat first but that was no excuse for the batsmen. The batting collapse saw India seal the series with relative ease.
