WATCH | We Did Well But Could Have Entered the Final - Afghanistan Coach Phil Simmons

Afghanistan ended their Asia Cup 2018 campaign on a high, pulling off a thrilling last-over tie against India in a match that saw the latter side rest most of their key players. Speaking to News18 after the game, Afghanistan coach Phil Simmons stated that his team did well enough through the course of the tournament but could have won more matches. "There's no regret, it's a case where we have played cricket the way we wanted to... we were a bit inexperienced in a couple of last over finishes (against Pakistan and Bangladesh) but we have learnt a lot and it is important for us to keep learning. We are a young team as far as international cricket is concerned and the more we keep learning the better we will get."
