No Clarity on Extent of Pandya’s Injury Yet, BCCI Says he is Being “Assessed by Medical Team”

There is still no clarity on the extent of All-rounder Hardik Pandya’s injury. The only update provided by the BCCI so far is that he is “being assessed by the medical team” and that the media “will be kept posted.” It remains unclear if Pandya will play any further part in the tournament. Although it has been reported in the Times of India that Rajasthan pacer Deepak Chahar has been called up as a replacement, but there is no independent confirmation yet.
