BCCI vs Lodha: Supreme Court Willing to Modify Orders on 'One State-One Vote' and 'Cooling Off' Clause

A bench comprising Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra, Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice DY Chandrachud heard the BCCI matter on Thursday and in a big boost to the board, the bench has observed that while there is no question of recalling the original judgment of 2016, there can be modifications to the previous orders on One State-One Vote and Cooling-off period. The bench further said that it will ratify the new constitution with necessary changes.
